Absentee Voting By Mail
Early voting for the General Election starts September 23. You can vote early with an absentee ballot. Process for mail-in ballots:
  • Request your mail-in ballot with a mail ballot application.
  • Fill out the application completely.
  • Submit the request to your local election office.

Absentee In-Person Voting
In-person early voting is happening now. You can vote via absentee ballot which can be mailed to you directly, or you can vote absentee in-person at the Kanabec, Mille Lacs, or Isanti County courthouses. 

Kanabec County Courthouse, 18 S Vine St, Mora, MN 55051. Courthouse hours are:
  • Weekdays, Monday - Friday, until Friday, November 4, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 
  • Saturday, November 5, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and 
  • Monday, November 7, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.​

Mille Lacs County Historic Courthouse, 635 2nd St SE, Auditor-Treasurer's office 2nd floor, Milaca, MN.  Courthouse hours are:
  • Weekdays, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 
  • Saturday, November 5, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Isanti County Courthouse, 555 18th Avenue SW, Auditor-Treasurer's office Main Level, Room Number 1040,

Ballot questions On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2022. Residents will vote on one operating levy question and two bond referendum questions.

School District Question 1
Approval of New School District Referendum Revenue Authorization
The board of Independent School District No. 333 (Ogilvie), Minnesota has proposed to increase the School District’s general education revenue by $720 per pupil, subject to an annual increase at the rate of inflation.  The proposed new referendum revenue authorization would be first levied in 2022 for taxes payable in 2023 and applicable for ten (10) years unless otherwise revoked or reduced as provided by law.

Shall the increase in the general education revenue proposed by the board of Independent School District No. 333 (Ogilvie), Minnesota be approved?
PASSAGE OF THIS REFERENDUM WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE IN YOUR PROPERTY TAXES
School District Question 2:
Approval of School Building Bonds

Security, Renovation and Upgrades
Shall the board of Independent School District No. 333 (Ogilvie), Minnesota be authorized to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $7,050,000 for acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities including, but not limited to, security improvements, roof renovations, pool upgrades, track reconstruction, and playground updates?
BY VOTING “YES” ON THIS BALLOT QUESTION, YOU ARE VOTING FOR A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
School District Question 3:
Approval of School Building Bonds

Ventilation System Upgrades
If School District Question 2 above is approved, shall the board of Independent School District No. 333 (Ogilvie), Minnesota be authorized to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,790,000 for acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities including, but not limited to, completion of ventilation system upgrades district-wide?
BY VOTING “YES” ON THIS BALLOT QUESTION, YOU ARE VOTING FOR A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
